I am really enjoying my retirement. Autumn being one of my favorite season, I have always wanted to enjoy the changing of the leaves in the northeast. This year I made it right at the peak time! I got to spend almost two weeks in PA. with my best friend Valerie and her hubby, Michael. Val drove me around with my head and camera hanging out the window for most of time. I'll try to post a few of the 100's of pictures I took. The weather was perfect for me, the the 50s and 60s during the day and at night in the low 40s and even 30s! This trip was one just to see the beautiful leaves and that I did. The colors are some that only God could come up with. I'm thinking winter might be the next trip to PA. I want to go play in some REAL snow!
This Thanksgiving I'm going out to spend a few days with my grandbaby. Katy is really growing up fast! I can't believe we have had her for almost 3 years! I can't wait for her to come spend the summers with Grammie! We'll do the town!
